All tests are performed according to national or international standard methods in compliance with current regulations or applying ad hoc test procedures developed to respond to particular customer requests.
Main fields of activity include atmospheric emissions from any polluting source, evaluation of the efficiency of combustion plants, air quality monitoring. Moreover, we organise interlaboratory circuits to evaluate the performance of accredited laboratories operating in the field of environmental control.
To keep pace with and contribute to the progress of test methods, Fuels Unit's experts participate in the standardization activity within Italian and European working groups and committees.
