Enterprise Europe Network

The Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) was launched in 2008 by the European Commission with the aim of supporting innovation, technology transfer and the internationalization of small and medium-sized enterprises and research organizations.

The network is active in more than 60 countries bringing together thousands of experts from more than 600 member organisations. This integrated support system offers free services to help companies find new commercial, production and technological partners abroad, to promote participation in European research programmes, such as Horizon 2020, and to enhance the competitiveness of export-oriented SMEs by improving their knowledge of European markets and legislation.

In Lombardy, the Enterprise Europe Network services are made available by the Simpler consortium (Support Services to IMProve innovation and competitiveness of businesses in Lombardy and Emilia-Romagna), which includes Innovhub SSI among its members.
